Here is a message sent to me from a visitor to my show at Artrix today.
Amazing work, it reminded me a lot of the awful stuff (in relationships), plus oddly enough of all the other things that you construct to try to shore up or prop up a dysfunctional relationship. The lies you tell yourself, because you can't face the prospect of your life without this other person with whom you have built a life. sooner or later, you eventually have to face up to the truth, and that's one of the hardest bits, because you REALLY loved someone, and you want them to be that person you fell in love with. 10 out of 10 jain. I really wanted to see "the pearl",because, i think, in the end, once you deal with the crap, the best bits get easier to remember, and you are left with the memory of your own feelings that you had for someone, how willing you were to give of yourself, totally selflessly and the purity of that. For me, being in love is certainly up there as far as the most powerful emotions go. The chemistry of it, It's almost like your sanity going for a holiday. I do confess to being moved by your work, for a while as i was leaving I thought I was going to start crying, but I put R4 on instead.
